If the numbers do not add up do not panic. I have reverted to my actual diet length day numbering. I also need to shift the phases slightly do to Christmas, as protein+vegetables will make my life way easier during the holidays.
It can be quite depressing when one Christmas meal (company party) can put you back by a kg or even two – so it looks like all the time till Christmas I will spend catching up on my weight loss. Really need to start doing more exercise, as without it the pace seems to be dreadfully grinding to almost a halt.

Going down slowly. A few ups and downs on the way. I have noticed that the busier my life gets the less I adhere to the strict diet rules. Starting to think that maybe stopping photographing my bland chicken meals was not the best idea…
Another thing I have noticed is that when there is no time to cook it is tempting to just either do something boring, or even go half-acceptible. This is probably a big sign I should really start cooking ahead and freezing some of the meals.
Recently I have tried out a few protein bars. They are really addictive, at some point I ended up having one or more daily. They might have a lot of protein and low carbs & fat, but overall they seemed to be stopping my weight loss. So goodbye protein bars.
Overall I lost 1.1kg over the 10 days.

Considering my quite monotonous choice of meals I’ve decided to do cycle updates, rather than yet again admit I’ve had chicken breast for breakfast, lunch and dinner…

As you can see my progress has not been all that smooth. Admittedly the big hill at the begining is a slight moment of indulgence… But one hickup is not going to stop me… oh, no! Even despite this little issue, both phases ended with a loss, slight but nevertheless.
One thinkg I have been wondering about is how does Dukan’s diet relate to PCOS. The low carb part definitely is beneficial, however it woudl be interesting to know if other people withthis condition do experience slower weight loss as well. Or maybe it’s just me and the fact I’ve been living on semi-low-carb for quite a lot of time.

I think I need to stop the protein bars. They’re way to easy to munch on during the day…
