A very handy way to digest the obligatory 3 spoons of oat bran is in the form of kind of pancakes. They are very easy to make, and are a good substitute for things like bread, as well as a desert base.

Ingredients
Portion for one:
- 2 table spoons of oat bran
- 1 table spoon of wheat bran
- 1 egg
- 1 table spoon of fromage frais
- pinch of salt
Instructions
Mix up all the ingredients in a bowl until they form a nice sticky mass. Warm up a pan, if you are using teflon no need for any oil. Put the bran mix on the pan and spread it thinly. For a nice effect cover the pan with a lid while cooking.
If you want to make more than one portion just multiply all the ingredients by the number of portions.

Hi,
I just started the Dukan diet and I am in the weight loss phase. I live in the USA and I don’t have the book, I am following websites with information in English.
I am glad I found your website, I needed some motivation and ideas about what to eat.
Would you please share the recipe of the Egg paste and if you have any recipe for the Chocolate mousse would be great.
Good luck with your diet!
Thanks and regards,
Star.
There are a lot of recipes spread out on forums, though that’s not the easiest way to find them. I take a lot from one Polish diet forum – Dukan is quite big there at the moment
Here’s the recipe for the Egg paste. I’ll try and do some chocolate mousse and post the recipe, though my experience so far with those hasn’t been too great…
Good luck with the diet to you too!
Just remember it’s not going to happen overnight and you’ll be fine
